Autumn Leaf Magic Wand

It is almost the end of Autumn!  I just LOVE this time of year, the leaves are such stunning colours, the air is crisp, and it is so enjoyable being outdoors!

We had yet another beautiful Bush Kindy a few days ago and made some pretty magical wands, transforming each other into sheep, mermaids, rabbits, frogs and princesses, and the park into a magical enchanted forest!

This activity is so simple, easy and will seriously elevate your imaginative play!

You will need

- Plain white and/or coloured cardboard

- Scissors

- Sticky Tape

- Glue

- Leaves

- Sticks

Instructions

- Cut shapes out of the cardboard.  I cut stars and hearts, but you can choose whatever shape and size you like!

- Find some small to medium sized sticks (any length) and sticky tape them to the back of your cardboard shape

- Crinkle, break apart, cut leaves into small pieces (almost confetti size)

- Put glue onto shape, and sprinkle your leaf confetti over the glue

- Leave to dry

- Turn your world into a magical wonderland and experience the joy and imagination that your children will bring to life!

As always, I really love seeing your creations!  Please tag us on Instagram @theultimateplaygrounds with photos!
